Let's Read OCPS!

Let’s Read, OCPS!, a district-wide reading challenge, will run from January 26 to April 30, 2026, and aims to encourage students to read for enjoyment and develop a lifelong love of reading by contributing to the district-wide goal of reading 50 million minutes.

Dear Students, Parents, and Community Members,

Welcome to Moss Park Elementary School, where we go to Excellence and Beyond!  It is with great excitement and anticipation that I welcome you to a new school year at Moss Elementary School. As your Proud Principal, I am excited to announce that we are staffed with highly qualified teachers, ready to provide our students with the exceptional education they deserve. Our resolute team of educators is committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where each child can thrive. We believe in fostering a love for learning, encouraging curiosity, and building a sturdy foundation for lifelong success.

In addition to our focus on academic excellence, we are equally dedicated to the social and emotional success of our students. We believe that fostering a supportive and nurturing environment is crucial for our students' overall well-being and development. At Moss Park, we celebrate diversity, promote kindness, and strive to ensure that every student feels valued and supported.  Our goal is to help every student thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and resilience needed for a bright future.
