Dear Moss Park Elementary Community,

Welcome to another exciting school year at Moss Park Elementary School, where we are proudly Going to Excellence and Beyond!  As we celebrate our 20th school year, I am filled with gratitude, pride, and enthusiasm for the journey ahead.  For two decades, Moss Park has been a place where students are inspired to learn, families are valued as partners, and educators work together to create a school community rooted in excellence.

As your Proud Principal, I am honored to serve a school with such a strong tradition of achievement and such a deep commitment to the whole child.  At Moss Park, we believe academic success and social-emotional growth go hand in hand.  Our dedicated staff cares deeply about helping students feel safe, supported, connected, and confident, while also holding them to high expectations and encouraging them to reach their fullest potential.

That commitment continues to show in remarkable ways.  Moss Park Elementary has proudly earned an “A” school grade since 2014, has been recognized with the Florida School of Excellence designation, and, for the first time since 2018, all of our subgroups surpassed the Federal Points Percentage Index threshold.  These accomplishments reflect the perseverance of our students, the skill and compassion of our staff, and the unwavering support of our families and community.

As we begin this milestone year, we will continue to build on the legacy of excellence that has defined Moss Park for the past 20 years.  We will honor our history, celebrate our successes, and keep looking forward with purpose, determination, and Eagle pride.  Together, we will continue Going to Excellence and Beyond for every student, every day.

Thank you for being part of the Moss Park Elementary family.  I look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, celebration, and continued success.

Sincerely,

William Harris, Jr.

Your Proud Principal
